As previously noted, I have had an incredible experience at Miu Miu thus far. Every day I come to work excited and ready to dive into the day's tasks. I love that I have been trusted with enough responsibility to make me an essential member of the PR team, and it's an amazing to see how my efforts have paid off when flipping through the pages of my favorite magazines.
I have been gaining experience in several different areas within the Communications department lately. I have assisted the production of Miu Miu's Fall/Winter fashion show by helping confirm guests and arrange seating for the show. I have also assisted members of the events department by providing an array of samples for celebrity clients and have gotten a glimpse into the way pitching and promoting the brand works.
I can honestly say that I have not had a single negative experience during my time here. Despite being an intern, I know that I am appreciated and respected by the full time staff throughout Prada, which is an experience that many interns miss out on at other companies. The only thing I am dreading is for my time at Miu Miu to come to an end, forcing me to find a real job somewhere else. I have grown so passionate about the brand that I honestly cannot see myself working for another company and enjoying it as much as I do here.
