From Full-Time Student to Full-Time Intern

I am very surprised at how well I feel like I'm transitioning into my internship. I think the most helpful skills from LIM walking me through this were the stories of guest speakers during co-op prep. Many of the speakers had been LIM Alumni who recently completed their co-op and were able to give a first hand account on what to expect. They explained the ups and downs of their experience and how it was their effort of going above and beyond that secured them a job upon graduation. They have inspired me to give 110% every day at Miu Miu.

Listening to guest speakers who manage interns at this level have also been very helpful. My supervisor is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and sometimes I feel like she will encourage me and tell me I'm doing a great job even if I'm not meeting up to her expectations. It was nice to hear the opinions of other supervisors and see what they expect from their interns.

Additionally, all of LIM's excel classes have been a lifesaver - I find myself working with several spreadsheets at a time that would be impossible to keep track of if I hadn't taken so many classes!
