Help From LIM

I think the knowledge I have gained at LIM over the last few years has definitely aided in my success of this internship in a business sense. I have been able to improve my organizational skills and time management, and classes on programs like Excel and Publisher have been a great help. Additionally, the school's requirement of several internships has given me a sense of what the real world is going to be like.

However, the internships I've completed and the connections I've made throughout my time at LIM have been 100% on my own. I believe that LIM delivers a false sense of advertising when promoting the success of their students - those who have been successful have relied little on the school's services because they have a natural drive and willpower to succeed in such a cutthroat industry, not because of what they have taken away from the school.

I think that LIM should considering taking on more full time faculty than just adjunct staff. This will give students a better chance to develop relationships with Professors who can become their mentors and provide essential career advice. Other than that, this school will continue to produce successful graduates, the majority of whom have themselves to thank more so than their education at LIM.
